Tulipe. The comfort of a tailor-made dress
Enveloping in its round shapes, it surprises for its comfort.
Curved “petals” serve as the back and the headrest, visually introducing the ease of the seat. Tulipe is an armchair able to communicate the security of those who know their own abilities.
The Tulip has repeatedly found in history big meanings and values: in the Ottoman empire it was the synonym for wealthy and power, in the Netherlands of the 1600s it became a real status symbol and in the Persian empire it had been filled with legends and traditions. It was given to the beloved person to symbolize the perfect love, but it also had the meaning of fame and ideal life.
From the shape of this flower, with big and fleshy petals, draws inspiration the Tulipe of Italia Lounge: a relaxed armchair, which can elegantly wear every colour. Soft lines, which are gently drawn, design a calibrated comfort that may be adapted thanks to the tilting mechanism, with which people can recline the back, obtaining a relaxed position, or a more formal position, but similarly and effectively supported. The swivelling base and the possibility to adjust the height of the seat complete the mechanism.
The high tailoring experience is “signed” by the zip that runs for the back length, which, just like a dress, reveals the dressing. The stitching enriches the generous and comfortable shapes, without overloading the armchair, showing the skilful craftsmanship that characterizes Tulipe. 
An armchair that is able to be well combined in the living, and at the same time, to carve out a dedicated place. In both it is an armchair that lets people to lose themselves in a cozy hug, experiencing moments where the passing of the time does not matter, where they can find the pleasure of the tranquillity and of the thinking, cuddled up in their own intimacy.
